2008 Melvado

$25.00

Another "*Outstanding"

from Wine Press Northwest.

Wine Press just released their latest ratings and gave our 2008 Melvado their

highest rating.

This is what they had to say,

"The nose carries fistfuls of black fruit — dark black cherry, blackberry — a pinch of mint leaf, ground coffee, allspice, moist earth and black tea.  There's an amazing amount of fruit on the plummy palate, joined by dark chocolate and black olive.  Tannins provide some late grip before they are washed down by boysenberry and lots of coffee."

2008 Cuvee

$19.00

Cuvee is a French term used to denote wine of a specific batch and originates from the French word cuve meaning “vat”.  Our Cuvee is a perfect blend of traditional Bordeaux varietals sourced from several premium Columbia Valley vineyards.

2008 Consensio

$34.00

Columbia Valley – 180 cases – 14.6% alc.

58% Cabernet  Sauvignon, 27% Merlot

10% Cab Franc  5% Malbec

This Cabernet focused blend is a big, full bodied wine. Its color is dark violet and the taste is powerfully rich with subtle hints of complex layers that will continue to reveal themselves as the wine ages.  The bouquet hints of spice and mocha mixed with dark cherries, fresh blueberries and plums. The addition of Merlot provides a nice silkiness and the Cab Franc lends complex nuances that are all held together by taut tannins for an extended finish.
